Due to the generosity of our sponsors we were able to send money to pay for a solar panel water pump at the school in Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. This will save them paying very high electricity bills to pump the water for the school children. They have recently installed the pump and will soon have the solar panels up and running. The money they save will then be spent towards feeding the children. The children board at the school and get two meals a day due to limited funds. They come from very rural areas of Burkina Faso where there is no prospect of an education and they are lucky to get one meal a day at home. The school has been struggling to find sponsors for the children and the money saved by this solar system will be greatly appreciated.
