Mission
Our Mission is to “Change the world – One life at a time”. The world is a big place, and it’s impossible for us to change the whole world. But if you send a container of medical aid to a hospital that has no equipment or dressings, if you build a hospital or a school in a poor community, if you dig a borehole in a village where people have to walk a couple of hours to get water, you change the whole world for those people. We work to help the world’s poorest people by working in the following area; Medical; Agricultural; Educational; Disaster Relief.
Local people helping Local People. Based in Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire, our local staff and volunteers raise funds, sort pack and transport donated items overseas where they are received by Local People known to us in the world’s poorest countries. We have key partners in over 20 nations whom we visit and talk to regularly. They receive and distribute our shipments of aid and run our projects in their local neighbourhoods.
Our Shop & Warehouse is a hub for receiving and sorting items that people donate to us. Click HERE for a list of items that you can donate. Some items are sold to raise money to pay for the logistics of sending aid overseas. Other items are used to help the poor here in our local area or overseas
